Book Talking 3.0: Inspiring and Engaging Readers Online

Readers’ advisory is a key component to library services, but with users moving to more virtual domains, we must focus on virtual book talking, creating an online place for readers’ inspiration. Using blogs and online book clubs, learn to inspire rather than advise so patrons of all ages continue making libraries a part of their reading lives.

Melissa Tomecz is the Reader’s Advisory Coordinator and Valerie Medzalabanleth is the Manager of Children’s Services, both at the Eleanor London Côte Saint-Luc Public Library. They presented this talk to a full house at the 2014 OLA Super Conference.

Join us on November 10, 2014 from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the Atwater Library.

Please see the attached poster for all the details.
