Alberta students to acquire digital literacy skills

Ottawa – Media Awareness Network (MNet) announced today that Alberta Education has licensed its award-winning interactive game – Passport to the Internet: Student tutorial for Internet literacy (Grades 4-8) – making the resource available to 1,800 elementary and middle schools in the province.

Join us for a night with the Quebec Writers' Federation

Bring in Spring with your colleagues as President of the QWF and author of Because I Have Loved and Hidden It, Elise Moser, will be giving a talk with Executive Director Lori Schubert about the history of the organization and the special programs it offers.

This event is presented by the Public Library Section of the ABQLA and will take place on March 15th, 2010 (17h30-19h30) at the Atwater Library, 2nd floor auditorium.  The cost is $5.  Please RSVP with Melissa Tomecz by March 11th.
