Financial Literacy 101: Helping yourself and your patrons with financial literacy

A workshop with Brenda Shanahan & Jessica Lange

Bad with budgeting? Not sure how much to save? What is a TFSA anyway? Learn from investment advisor Brenda Shanahan about the six key areas of financial literacy: budgeting, credit, taxes, saving, investing, and estate planning. Business librarian Jessica Lange will also walk you through some key resources for learning more about financial literacy and finance.

 
This workshop will be valuable for people looking to enhance their own financial knowledge. It will also be useful for librarians seeking financial resources to recommend to their library patrons.
