The College & Research Libraries Section is pleased to announce the details of our Spring event: “An Evening with the Experts: Research Data Management". We will hear from two excellent speakers (please see attached poster for further details about our speakers):
 
Research Data Management: Charting a New Course for Libraries in the 21st Century

Kathleen Shearer holds several positions at the national and international level. She is a Research Associate with the Canadian Association of Research Libraries (CARL) and is coordinating a project to develop a national library-based network for managing research data called Portage.
 
Faculty Perspectives on Research Data Management

Edward Bilodeau is the Coordinator, User Experience and Support within the Digital Initiatives group at the McGill University Library. He has extensive experience in both academia as well as the private sector, primarily in the areas of web strategy, communications, information architecture, and web development.
