Getting ready for the new RDA Toolkit: The 3R project

Date:
Friday, March 23, 2018 - 13:30
Location:
David C. Edwards Cyberthèque Classroom Redpath Library Building McGill University

The RDA Restructure & Redesign (3R) project will result in a brand new toolkit to be launched on June 13, 2018.

Please join us as Emma Cross, Chair of the Canadian Committee on Cataloguing guides us through a preview of the new toolkit and updates us on some of the most important changes. The redesigned toolkit is Linked Data ready and incorporates changes based on user feedback and the shift from FRBR to the IFLA Library Reference Model.

The session will finish with a demonstration of a beta version of the new RDA Toolkit site including the opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback.

Emma’s talk will be followed by a coffee break, after which we will reassemble for more questions and roundtable discussions on the impact of the RDA Toolkit redesign.

Please note that space is limited.
