What is new, what is hot in the field of services for teens?  How can we engage teens to read and share their passion for reading?  The on-line teen book club that has been put up at the Eleanor London Cote-Saint-Luc Public Library is a perfect example of what could be done with a great idea, passion and perseverance.  Valerie Medzalabanleth, Manager of Children’s Services, presented her project of implementing an on-line book club for teenagers.

The event, organised by the School and Youth sections on April 8th 2013 was a huge success!  The talk allowed us to understand the issues connected to the introduction of this new service, the preparation, the technical specifications, the facts related to the choices of books and the creation of the entries.
