Little cats and little humans are curious creatures. Bringing the two together to share the adventure is inspirational. Kitten goes out to explore the farm world around her, meeting various young animals and their parents, learning the sounds they make and generally having a good time.

After having a full day, she comes home and goes to sleep.

The text is in short rhyming couplets, easy to mimic by the very young. The appealing clay and acrylic artwork is rendered in fresh, bright colours that say spring. There is much to discover on each double page.

This little kitten will warm the heart of young and old and should definitely be on the shelf of any young reader.

Highly recommended.
