Brown Bag Lunch with JoAnne Turnbull, Director of CRSBP of the Laurentians

All are welcome to attend the next ABQLA McGill Student Chapter event.

We are happy to present JoAnne Turnbull, a graduate of McGill SIS '87, who will speak about her successful, multifaceted career in academic, public, law, and corporate libraries through good and difficult economic times.

JoAnne is currently General Director of CRSBP (Centre régional des services aux bibliothèques publiques) of the Laurentians. CRSBP is a centralized service providing a rotating collection of over 750,000 documents to smaller public libraries as well as technical, cultural, and resource support.

JoAnne has also worked at Concordia University, the McCord Museum, BCE Inc as a corporate librarian, and the Fasken Martineau law firm, as well as being the library director at the Westmount Library. She is certainly proof that people can switch positions between academic, public and corporate libraries. So come all with open ears and eager questions! We hope to see you there.
