The College & Research Libraries Section is pleased to announce the details of our Fall event: The Latest in 3D Printing". Attendees will learn about the newest 3D printing technology and best practices on how libraries can offer 3D printing services to their users.

We are fortunate to have two local 3D printing experts join us for the evening, which will include a live 3D printer in action! Please see the attached poster for further details about our speakers.

Call for Host proposals: WILU 2016

Memorial University Libraries invites interested institutions to apply to host the Workshop for Instruction in Library Use (WILU) conference in 2016.

Procedures for Submitting a Proposal to Host WILU 2016:

The University or Chief Librarian or Director of Libraries of the interested institution will apply in writing by Monday, December 1, 2014, to Lorraine Busby, University Librarian, Memorial University Libraries.

Partnership: The Canadian Journal of Library and Information Practice and Research is extending the search for the position of Editor-in-Chief until November 30, 2014.

Partnership is one of Canada's leading open access journals serving the library profession. The journal is published by The Partnership, Canada's national network of provincial and territorial library associations. The Editor-in-Chief holds an ex officio position on The Partnership Board and is accountable to the Board.

The WILU Program Committee is pleased to invite proposals to be considered at WILU 2015, June 15-17, to be held at Memorial University in beautiful St. John’s, NL.

The theme for WILU 2015 is Sea Change: Transforming Learning.

We invite proposals that are inspired in various ways by the ideas of growth, change, and transformation; that bring us together to explore changes that we have either experienced or inspired, and to examine the transformations that are taking place around us.
