ABQLA is pleased to invite members of the library and information professional community to submit conference proposals for its 84th annual conference to be held in Montreal on Wednesday, May 4th, 2016. The theme for this year’s conference is Libraries Moving Forward: Innovations that Work.

Proposals are now being accepted for Concordia University Libraries' 14th Annual Research Forum, in the beautiful city of Montreal. 

This year's Research Forum will be held on Friday, April 29th, 2016, at the Loyola Jesuit Hall and Conference Centre, in Montreal, Quebec.

Deb Kachel is a former District Library Supervisor for the Ephrata Area School District in Pennsylvania and worked as a school librarian for 34 years. She has authored many articles on school library advocacy in addition to writing and facilitating an online school library advocacy program for school administrators. Ms.

InfoNexus Conference at McGill! Register now!

InfoNexus is a yearly conference organized by SIS students. We aim to bring students and information professionals together to hear engaging talks, exchange ideas, and make connections. InfoNexus embraces the multidisciplinary nature of information studies - topics from previous years have ranged from search engine optimization and online reputation, learning to code, creating digital spaces, bibliometrics and film theory, to information access in environmental law.
