Review by Alexander Slack

Every Wrinkle Has a Story is a gentle and somber, yet positive, story about a young boy named Yotam asking his grandpa Amnon about where he got his wrinkles. The experiences shared discuss a variety of life stories, highlighting that both sad and happy memories are attached to wrinkles and getting older. The beautiful narrative is paired with soft watercolour paintings that make excellent use of the negative space on the page. Thoughtful and reflective, the story is lighthearted and invites children into conversations with their elders. This book also serves as a positive and non-judgemental introduction to aging. While younger children can enjoy this book, it is great for slightly older children to think about.
