Our Information and Document Resource Service (IDRS) provides high-quality, substantive and timely information and documentation to Parliament and its staff by building, managing, preserving and optimizing access to the Library’s information assets.
We are currently looking for candidates to staff the following position: Librarian, Information Services and Special Projects.
The Librarian, Information Services and Special Projects, develops and provides information services, online and in person, to clients of the Library of Parliament. The incumbent works closely with other members of the Resource Discovery and Access team to support various special projects, including the continuous enhancement of the Library’s catalogue and discovery tool, updates to our intranet and other web properties, and activities related to the orientation and training of new and returning members of the House of Commons.
