Author and illustrator Debbie Ridpath Ohi has written a love letter to books and libraries. She manages to both showcase a love of reading and the overpowering feeling of never finishing all the books you see. While Hana has read all the books at home and at her friend’s house, she is overwhelmed by the enormity of the library and all its books. She thought reading was something she could finish, but a librarian and her family show her that there is more to reading—Hana can share her love for the books she reads with her friends and family, adding more value than just reading everything in sight. I ‌liked the zippy illustrations and the positive message of this book. I recommend this book to public and school libraries! It embodies the love of reading and of libraries, and would suit story time.
